 AMI-HOMESTAY05 - 5D4N - MEKONG HOMESTAY & CYCLING TOUR

Day 1: Arrival
 

Meal: None
Ho Chi Minh City Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City formerly known as Sai Gon, you are welcomed and transferred to your Hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure to explore the largest city and industrial center of Viet Nam.
Overnight in Saigon.


Day 2: Tay Ninh - Cu Chi Tunnels
 

Meals: B, L
Cu Chi Tunnels tour In the morning, heading for Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh. Cao Dai is a local religion in Viet Nam. You will see how they pray in the noon mass and be explained more about this region.
In the afternoon, we drive to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, which were an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodations and schools, and were used as a military base for the Vietcong in the American war.
Overnight in Saigon.


Day 3: Sai Gon - My Tho - Ben Tre
 

Meals: B, L, D
Homestay in Ben tre In the morning, visit Reunification Palace, War Museum before driving for My Tho.
Arrive MyTho. Take a river boat for a cruise along the river bank of The Mekong River. Take a bicycle to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda ,one of ancient pagoda in The Mekong Delta.
Take a river boat for a cruise along the river bank of The Mekong River. Boat to BenTre (Coconut Island) where has more coconut palms than any other place in the country and visit farmer's traditional house.
Take some catch fishing tools. The farmers will show you how to catch fish in the canals and learn to cook Vietnamese prawn pancake.
Evening you will have dinner with Mekong family atmosphere . After the meal , taking a rowing boat to travel along the riverbank for strange- looking with full of light trees by fireflies beside the river bank.
Go back the garden house – Homestay overnight.


Day 4: My Tho - Sai Gon
 

Meals: B, L
Bicycle trip in Ben Tre Early morning biking on the country road to visit fruit gardens ,come to visit a village market and learn about the morning country life and visit the nature of coconut island. Boat to visit the fish farm on the Mekong River - local handicraft village - a traditional house on the island - Enjoy fresh fruits. Listen Mekong music .Take a rowing boat to explore a small canal. Visit the Bee garden on the Unicorn island (You will be enjoyed honey lemon tea and fruit sweets ) - Come to visit a farmer house and learn how the people build the garden in The Mekong.
Stop at Bon Sai garden - lunch in the river restaurant with Elephant eared fish specialty.
Back to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.


Day 5: Departure
 

Meal: B
Transfer to the airport for departure.
