AMISHA :: 6D5N :: SAI GON - HUE - HOI AN

Day 1: Arrival Sai Gon

Meals: L, D
On arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, you are met and transfer to the hotel. Have lunch at Dong Du Restaurant. Afternoon: City tour. Ho Chi Minh city, formerly known as Sai Gon, is a center of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Viet Nam. This bustling metropolis, contradiction of its northern counterpart, is crowded with bikes and motorbikes, excited by numerous shopping area and sidewalk cafes. If time permits, we stroll around the downtown to explore the different local ways of life, the old Sai Gon Post Office, the bustling Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale! Stopping off along the way to see the Cho Lon, Sai Gon's China Town, which is crammed with fascinating temples and mysterious, narrow lanes, the Jade Emperor pagoda. Welcome dinner on cruise along Sai Gon river. Overnight in Sai Gon.


Day 2: Sai Gon - Hue
 

Meals: B, L, D
The early morning excursion to Cu Chi - a fabulous tunnel. You will have opportunity to get the unique experience of guerillas living and fighting underground during the war (a crawl through 50-100 meters out 200 km of the tunnel system is unforgettable), local rice paper workshop, nice paddy fields are pleasant sights on the way.
Back to Sai Gon for lunch before be transferred to the Tan Son Nhat airport for the flight to Hue, which depart at 15:00. Arrive Hue, pick up and transfer to Morin Hotel (4*) for check in. Hue was originally the capital of southern Viet Nam. The Nguyen Dynasty ruled the city. In 1805 Emperor Gia Long, a member of the Nguyen family, united the country. Hue became the capital of Vietnam.
In the evening, have a Royal dinner and enjoy the traditional Royal music show on the cruise on Huong romantic river. Overnight in Hue.


Day 3: Hue
 

Meals: B, L, D
A boat trip on the romantically named Perfume River visits Hue's best-known religious site, Thien Mu pagoda and the Mausoleum of former emperor Minh Mang, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes. Lunch with special local food : Banh Khoai (Banh Xeo). In the afternoon, visit the elaborate Mausoleum of Emperor Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Dinner at hotel. Overnight in Hue.


Day 4: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An
 

Meals: B, L, D
Morning: Visit the Citadel - the complex of the Hue Citadel received a definitive global recognition when the UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site. Since then, some of the palaces in the citadel have been rebuilt with funds donated by this international organization. The journey will continue to Da Nang. Have lunch with sea food at Lang Co Beach Resort. Take a photos stop on the top of Hai Van pass (or you can choose another way such as Hai Van tunnel). Drive directly to Hoi An. Check in Golden Sand resort 4*. Dinner in Brothers Cafe restaurant.
Overnight in Hoi An.


Day 5: Hoi An - Da Nang
 

Meals: B, L, D
Morning: Walking through Hoi An ancient town. Hoi An is an ancient town, located 30 kilometers south of Da Nang city and lying on the bank of Thu Bon river. It used to be one of the most important trading ports of Southeast Asian in the 16th century, known among the western traders as "Faifo". Hoi An ancient town is very charming with the distinct Chinese and Japanese atmosphere as well as its traditional houses lining the narrow streets. Most of buildings are still in their original form, including ancient private houses, family chapels, community halls, communal houses, temples, pagodas, bridges, wells and tombs. Lunch at Cargo Club.
Afternoon: Check out and drive to Da Nang. Visit marble mountain, Cham museum before check in to Furama Resort 5*. Farewell Dinner at Furama resort. Overnight in Da Nang.


Day 6: Departuree
 

Meal: B
Today, you will relax at Furama resort. Check out at noon and be transferred to the airport for the flight back to Sai Gon. Pick up and transfer to your accommodation (not included hotel). End of tour.
