"Dear Ms. Diep,
Firstly, let me apologise for only emailing you 2 months after our return from honeymoon – we have been incredibly busy since we returned and it has been a real struggle to find the time to do much in the way of sorting out our wedding and honeymoon photos. I’m only getting to them now, so sorry that it’s not been possible to get in touch sooner.
The purpose of the email is, of course, to thank you and all your team for arranging such an incredible tour of Vietnam for us and really making it into the trip of a lifetime that everyone wishes their honeymoon will be. Well, thanks to your efforts, we certainly had that! We have not stopped telling people what a brilliant time we had throughout our stay and what a fantastic destination Vietnam is. I’m still working on the 2,000-odd photos I took over the course of the holiday but when I have some sort of album together I will put a few pictures on the internet and let you know when they are up. We have been telling a lot of our friends that they really should get over to Vietnam before all of the big hotel projects are completed, so that they get the chance to see your beautiful, friendly and inspiring country in its natural state – and we will certainly recommend you and Amitourist to them should any of them decide to take the plunge. We would in fact love to come back soon ourselves and when we do so we will certainly be getting in touch.
Please pass our thanks along to our guides Phi, Lang and Dang as well, their efforts in looking after us really did make a huge difference and they were a credit to your company. Finally, thanks once again for the very kind gifts you gave us, particularly our chopsticks which we have used a lot already. We haven’t quite been brave enough to try making Pho Bo at home yet because we don’t think the beef stock you can buy over here will be good enough, so we will need to make our own. If you have a secret recipe then please feel free to pass it on if you have time!
Thank you once again and we both hope you have a wonderful Christmas season and a very happy and successful 2012. I have attached a photo from our trip as requested – it was taken on board the Royal Barge in Saigon.
With our very best wishes Olie and Lizzy Lawson
